How do I get that sound?

I have to play ddead or alive by bon jovi in June in front of about 20-30 people. I know to play the song but I don't know how to match the distortion. My distortion is to deep like a b. How do I get it to sound like how richie sambora gets it. I am looking for what kind of equipment. I have the Zoom G2.1 but I don't know how to get the sound on it. Any help?
