How will graduate schools consider the official transcript during the application process?
I'm going to be applying to a top-tier program in Biochemistry and was wondering what expectations the admission officers have in terms of relevant coursework, during the application process. Is English generally considered a relevant coursework for a science career? I'm a 3rd year and have been taking only few courses outside of my major (maybe a couple, one of them being an English course) and I'm afraid that schools might be looking for a more well-rounded applicant rather than someone who's been taking nothing but science. Maybe I ought to have done more exploration in terms of coursework. But otherwise my transcript looks great. Should I let this be a worry?
