Why do Republicans side with Insurance Co.'s over the Health of Americans?

Don't Republicans want to get elected in the midterm elections? Why would they choose to support Insurance companies rather than all those voters who need Health Care? Seems to me this will be a big Issuue come election day. I guess Limbaugh speaks for you're party though.
