Catolic and methodist?

i was never been baptized before but i was exposed to different christian sects like born again, baptist and catholic.. now my parents had me baptized as methodist..to tell you honestly, im a catholic at heart but i dont see anything wrong with the methodists except that there are certain differences in their beliefs and tradition..well am already contented with catholicism and i like it but would it cause me any harm to try what it is to be a methodist? i mean i have this strong affinity with catholicism, i have this fear that it might intervene during my worship to God once i give methodism a try..well i must say im still on the discerning stage although i already have this strong affinity to catholicism.. am i commiting a sin?
